SCR-S system

SCR Selective Reduction Catalyst for EN 590 and sulphur-containing fuels.

This system has been specifically developed for applications where NOx reduction is required and can be applied under the IMO Tier III  (IMO T3). This system will depend on the type of catalytic converters suitable for a maximum quantity of sulphur in the fuel of 1.5%. The standard provide a sound attenuation of approximately 35 dB(A). 

 

Options

The SCR-S system can be supplied as an In-line or Compact model. The In-line model has a partially integrated urea mixing pipe. The Compact model has a fully integrated urea mixing pipe.  

Several standard height/width configurations are possible for all system models.

A customised solution, of course, is possible for very tight or complex engine rooms.

  2. Separate reactor housing with dummy elements (SCR prepared)
  3. Without an integrated silencer (only the reactor housing)
  4. With an integrated spark arrester
  5. With 45 dB(A) noise reduction
  6. Stainless steel reactor housing
  7. Intake and exhaust at alternative positions
  8. Alternative catalyst types
  9. Motor load signal through J1939 or analogue
  10. External communication through Mod or CAN bus.

SCR system

Solfic SCR systems operate using urea solution to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx). Reductions of more than 95% are possible. Solfic SCR systems work with reliable compressed air atomization and are suitable for a 32.5% (Ad-blue of AUS32) or 40% (AUS40) urea solution.

*  The actual reduction will depend on the set value for the outgoing NOx. The outgoing NOx emissions amount to approx. 2 g/kWh depending on the speed in accordance with the IMO Tier III emission criteria. This value is achieved at a reduction of 60-80%.
